I just returned from a great time at Indianapolis Startup Weekend. I thought I would write a short blog post to answer the question I had before I came to Startup Weekend.  How do I pitch an idea at startup weekend?  What is expected of me?

Passion – because people want to work with someone that they think they could get along with, and since you might not know anyone at Startup Weekend you better make sure that your pitch makes you likeable.

Potential – because many people come to Startup Weekend with the dream of staring a business over the weekend with a few other entrepreneurs and quitting their day job on Monday morning.  In 30 seconds if you can show that your idea has potential, and that you are passionate about the business, then you might just have the great opportunity to make your idea a reality at Startup Weekend.
